    Sounds like I might as well just buy the Toyota filter and pay the extra few bucks. Doing an oil change every 5K and paying the few bucks extra for the Toyota filter will cost about $60 bucks extra if I keep the truck for 100K. Thanks to everyone for all the insight.

    Just an an update......1013 miles, went with a Toyota filter ($5.41) and Mobil 1 full synthetic ($23.00). For less than $30, I did what the dealship would have done for $55. Anyone know what they put in break in oil? It had a strange neon green tint to it. I almost thought it was Ecto-cooler.

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    "Break in oil" is drained at the factory. Then refilled with the required weight dino oil. The "tint" you may have seen could be left over dye they use to identify leaks when breaking in the engine at the factory.
