    Tru frigin Dat! The dealer must have used an impact to put mine on...and the filter, geeze! I had to do the "poke a hole with a screwdriver" method to get it off. Once you do it yourself (correctly) it will be a snap next time. Oh and with those low miles...synthetic all the way, all the time

    +1. Synthetic oil does NOT cause problems. IIRC, there were some issues switching between dino and EARLY synthetics, but that hasn't been true for years. How else are folks able to buy and use synthetic/dino BLENDS with no problems...?

    FWIW, OP, I use and recommend Amsoil.

    No need to run synthetic in an 03. I run conventional in my 3.4 200k miles and no troubles.

    Also your seals wont "get used to" synthetic. You'll be fine no matter what you choose. Especially with a 3rz that's only got 60k
