I have a 2013 2.7 4 cyl which takes 0-20. Use what is recommended. Look at the oil cap on the engine. It will tell you which oil to use. Toyota is switching to 0-20 synthetic with most of it's engines.

You can easily switch to synthetic. Use 5/30 which seems to be the recommended weight for your truck. I use Mobile 1 which I purchase for $25.99 for a 5 gallon jug at Walmart. You can sometimes find it on sale at autozone but Walmart has the best price. Be sure to use oem oil filters from Toyota. The are the best out there. Stay away from Fram.

Like the guy said, use what your manual and oil cap say. Switching to synth won't change what weight oil you should use.

As previously stated... It's 5W-30... I personally use Royal Purple. With the filters, Don't touch Fram's (OEM's work best and their cheap at the dealership)
