I would like to know if the Seats in the TRD Pro are different than the ones in the TRD Off Road Premium or Limited. Just by look alone it seems the TRD pro has more bolstered seats that look thicker and more comfortable than the ORP or Limited.

Trying to make sure my fat ass is as comfortable as possible.. But seriously the Military had broken or blown up my knees hips and back.. so some comfort on longer drives would be nice..

    thanks in advance..

Wait and get a 2020 Tacoma as it will have a power driver seat and offer you more adjustability

    All the things!
AFAIK, the only difference is that the TRD Pro seats are guaranteed leather and have the TRD Pro logo embroidered in the headrest. The TRD Offroad has optional leather, which is the same as the PRO, minus the red stitching and embroidered logo. The Limited is the only trim package with brown leather seats... And forgive my liberal use of the word leather. It's all a synthetic leather.

Other than that, the seat structure is all the same. As mentioned above, the 2020's finally get electronically adjustable seats.

pretty sure all the trd seats are the same design, the pro ones are just leather, I could be full of shit though.

Power seats are useless unless you have multiple people driving your truck or are a one vehicle family. Get in, set it and for get it. I think I've actually moved my seat less then 5 times in my 2010 Tundra.

    Welcome

Other than the fancy leather stitching, there's not much difference in the padding.

In addition to waiting until 2020, I'd also recommend picking up a set of nice neoprene covers. Those will add some cushion.

^^^ that’s my understanding as well: all “leather” seats are the same, with the exception of embroidering and stitching.

My knees are perfect, I am in good shape, and I don’t find the seats in my 2019 TRD Off Road very comfortable.

If you have a blown knee, I’d wait for the 2020 to come out with the power seat. Hopefully it provides more adjustments. The current seats only move fore and back.

a power seat with 8 way adjustability is way better than a manual seat imo. unless Toyota is cheeping out and not doing 8 way in the new tacoma

While I am in the same situation as you and find the Taco seats comfortable, it has been my experience that they can be dreadful for others. I am thankful that rear spacers worked for my wife. In the end, the Taco could use just electric or manual front and rear height adjustments. They're probably going with the 8-way seats on the 2020s because it is already in the parts bin.

I’m gonna start ending all of my conversations with her like that. It’ll avoid a lot of hassle.
