    99% it is the the tps. Unplugging it makes the ecu run off preprogrammed parameters, a early type of limp mode. I dont remeber what sensors are bypassed in this mode, for sure ECT, TPS, maybe AFM and maybe O2. Any of these sensors could be the actual culprit. So meter out the tps and go from there.
