    all tore up already
Just ordered a set of 255/75r17 winterforce snow tires, price was right and should do much better in fluffy stuff than the half worn 285 coopers. will add pics when i get them put on

Is anyone running this size tire on the Sema TRD 4runner wheels? Just wondering how much the tires stick out considering the wheel offset difference from the oem taco wheels.

Sorry it took a hot minute!

Finally got them on the Taco this afternoon! I needed to wax the fronts and throw on some Griots Ceramic spray wax, I know they never look this good but I wanna try and take care of them like my other wheels and stuff.

I’m stoked, even my wife likes em! And she IS NOT a car person at all, lol...

Before, 16x7 1st Gen Tundra TRD rims, with 265/75/R16 SL Hankooks.

After is a factory FJ steelies, 17x7.5 with 255/75/R17 C-Ply KMs, all new Jeep Rubicon spare tires.

The powder coater media blasted the wheels and turns out he powder coats an epoxy finish on steel wheels first to protect them, then powder coates the color. Just aluminum wheels he can powder coat your color the first time.

Anyone in WNC need an awesome powder coater PM me and I’ll share his company info.

Turns out the ole 2.7 with manual transmission doesn’t mind the extra weight at all.
I’m looking forward to putting a couple tanks worth of gas through it to see what differences the ScanGuage tells me.

Also keep in mind I have a 2018 TRD OR front sway, front shocks and springs, and rear shocks on my truck, turns out a 3rd Gen OR front suspension lifts your 4-cyl front end over an inch.

Now all I need is to install my 1” blocks in the rear (I know I know) just get an AAL!
And an AluCab canopy top. I want to take the truck back to Ocracoke so bad with one of the 270” awnings and the canopy over the bed. But funds don’t allow it YET!

Stock sport suspension. The bronze TRD rims has a 4mm offset.

    Looks great bro!

Can I get a solid side shot in the sun showing those white letter out tires please!

    Thanks,

I really wish BFG would put RWL options on the C-load 255s for those of us that like the "Sporty" look.

I got about 40k out of them. I switched to a different tire before taking a major trip (<2000miles) last fall. They're currently sitting in my garage. Got 5 with decent tread left on them (8-10/32") with certificates for replacement from Discount Tire. $250 and they're yours. I'll probably go 285/75/17's for my GX

Can never resist the urge to sing the praises of the 255/75/17 Cooper AT3 4S' on 2020 TRD Pro 4Runner wheels. A great combination for a little more height while keeping things very light. And so far the SL rated tires have been fantastic on the trail.

Man I put about 35k a year on mine so I was looking new. I’ve ran a 285/70/17 and a 295/70/17 ridge grappler last 2 sets both got about 70k out them. I want something lighter than these 65 #’s but not sure if I’ll be happy with the stance of a 10” er

I had zero complaints about the footprint. You definitely won't get 70k out of them, but I don't think it'd be unreasonable to get 50k from them.

I have a stock '21 TRD Sport w/ OEM mudflaps. Will I have any rubbing issues with this tire size?

Do you still like yours now?

Also, nice to see a fellow Super Robot fan. :bananadance:

Yep been up and down Cali with no issues or rubbing! They’ve been great.

Also we seem to have great taste in both vehicles and robots it seems :D

Are you running these with no lift? Any chance you can take a head on side shot showing how much they do or don't stick out?

No lift - stock Sport suspension. Here is a head on shot, but it's not ideal for checking for negative offset...but bottom line, while they sit out wider than stock (moved from +30 offset to +4) they are still tucked in under the fender.
