Crap, I thought DW stood for “devoted wife”

...But seriously, I had never owned a truck before, and went looking. I’ve been a Japanese car owner of sorts for 25 yrs, Honda, Toyota, Nissan. The ridgeline was just too odd looking to me, the Frontier was ok, but just meh. Sort of rattled like a domestic maker’s interior.
    Then I drove the Tacoma...

I was immediately 3 inches taller, better looking, and lost like 25 lbs.

Just kidding, but I knew from the first 5 minutes test driving, this is the one! It didn’t hurt that I always liked the looks of the third gen.

I don't have one yet,but I've wanted a Taco since I was in middle school. I always dreamed of having a truck. My first car in high school was a 1992 Toyota Celica,a junk yard car that was bought for me that I fixed up. Fast forward to 2012,I bought my first car,a 2010 Mazda 3 hatchback. Loved that thing to bits, but still had a truck on my mind.

2016,I had the itch to really get into trucks,so I went into a Nissan dealership just for shits and giggles, ended up with the truck I have now,a 2013 Frontier SV. I had no clue had to drive something bigger, nor that it wasn't a 4x4.
Now,after 2 years of driving that truck, and a lot more research,a new 3rd gen Taco will be mine, just have to be a good adult and wait until I can get a better paying job! I'm ready to have the 'bells and whistles' that a my Frontier doesn't have
