I've thought about doing the same thing. Did you have them powercoated? How much did it cost?

    Hog,
I confess, I paid a dude at work $200 to paint them. He prep, primed & painted both sides, three coats each. The tires were left on and masked off but the weights were removed and painted separately. He used NAPA 7220 self etching primer, then NAPA 7244 Toyota trim black with a professional grade gun. The only problem was the Toyota emblem on the center caps was not sanded well, so it started to peel and had to be done over. Later on I painted the Toyota emblem red but did a shitty job (looks good far away) so I'll have to find someone that does pin stripping to fix it for me. Other members have used paint in cans, powder coating and plastic dip with good results. Check out some of their write ups.

I put AMX Artillary wheels on Dura Tracs. Waiting on Bilsteins to lift it a bit, but until then this is what she looks like. The Artillary's are a bit more gray/blue than I thought they were gonna be, but I kinda like them.

The 16 inch steel wheels look real good black, I think.
