    And why is everyone saying mud flaps ??my 2019 never came with mud flaps.

    mud flap protect your paint, but when backing over an obstacle/rock the obstacle/rock pushes the flap into the tire, and they get ripped off..

    did this a few months ago on ice.. front tires sunk into a 12" break in the ice (small stream), and I had to back out.. passenger side mud flap hit the ice ledge, and sucked the mudflap into the tire.. heard a crunch, and stopped, pulled forward about 6 inches.. my mudflap was in the water... if i had gone further it would have ripped that mudflap to shreds.. but luckily I heard it. stacked up some rocks, and ice,, made it out.. This is on stock tires mind you.... 265/70/16 yokohama geolandar AT's.
