How about a 2 person tent cot on a army trailer? The fenders are getting fabricated so not on yet. It’s like a cheap treehouse. Seriously cheap. Lol

Looks like a brilliant idea to me. The bed rack is kind of like a status symbol to me. I know a couple of guys that have an RTT that have never used it.
Edit: not sure if it’s your driveway or the trailer is leaning downward.

My kids camped out in it at the river this weekend and had no complaints except it didn’t take a while to set up a whole tent just 3 minutes.

Hey Skydvrr does your truck sometimes sound like a diesel when the injectors are cleaning?

Yeah our driveway is angled down a lot. I’ll post a better picture tomorrow with fenders paint job etc.

Looking around some more I found that they even make a bicycle trailer with one mounted on it. Thats pretty ingenious.

That’s really cool for a lot of places my truck can’t go.

It kinda seems that way. It’s really not that bad. It’s better than the Cabela’s version with the flat top instead of the dome top.

At least you will have room to sit up and move around inside with this model much better than Cabela’s version.

Well damn. I'm gonna steal this idea for the trailer I'm going to build for my '40.

I am not understanding why everyone seems to think that tents have to be 10 feet in the air nowadays. What the hell is wrong with the ground?

Ok, so the trailer idea seems ok to me but tents set up in the air on the back of trucks just seems crazy. Your on your second day camping ,got the truck/tree tent all set up and need to make a beer/ice run to the store. Got to take all that crap down just to be able to drive somewhere.
