Sooo my parents got me a new 32" flat screen for my room for Christmas. I had my old regular tv on a stand that my grandfather built, but the new tv dosent fit on it, so I had to hang it on the wall. I have a dvd player, and part of my surround sound on that stand, and some books and stuff. Anyone have any ideas on anything I can buy, maybe with doors? I also got a 6 piece dewalt tool set from my gf and her parents, so i was also thinking of building something? Not sure on that one, really dont have any wood working past. Either way its time for something new.:D

I was distracted by the ladder shield on your wall so typically labeled "keep back".

Every FF has to have some materials on their walls.

I'd say talk to some guys @ your firehouse. I'm sure someone has a side business that can give you some good pointers in person.

I'd come help you, but Im alonnnng way away.

I think you ought to make some doors, and stain them to match what your granfather built. I think if you built something as opposed to buying it, he be much more proud.

the thing thats on the bottom...make something like that for the top shelf to put the TV on. then you can have some extra space under the TV for movies. keep books, photo albums, and dvd player on the bottom.

nah, i kinda like the tv on the wall. I want to open up my floor a bit as its not that big of a room. I just want something small so i can also kinda hide the wires.

Even thou you guys just gave me an idea, make the old stand into an extra storage thing, just minus the tv...Hmm

My kids started archery with a little bow just like yours......where did it go in the last pic?

Love the camo saw, that would be great for trimming shooting lanes when setting stands late summer....
