My brakes are squeaking, when I'm on them, AND when I'm just driving, if i tap the brake just a little bit the squeak goes away for about 10 seconds then returns. They aren't worn down anywhere past half, and there isn't a rock in there.
I'm assuming, that since they are squeaking when I'm not touching them that something isn't right, where should I start?
Oh, and it's just the front left

I am truly sorry to the 33 of you who wasted your time reading this, I took a look at the brakes and found there was something rubbing the rotors, took the pads out and noticed it was the squealers.
the pads still have about 1/2 inch or so left, and I thought that was lots, but I guess not?
I bent the squealer away from the rotor a bit and am going to check the other side tomorrow to ensure both are wearing the same.

again, sorry you wasted your time reading my crap haha, all i had to do was get off my ass and figure it out for myself

Had the same thing happen to me the other day. It was ok before no squeak then i went wheeling and there was a squeak comming from front left. Assumed it was just mud and rocks but still didn't go away after 2 days. Took it all apart and air hosed it all out. Ended up being the wear indicator. Just bent it back as well. They seem to still have a lot of life left in them.
