Those mounting options look legit. I don’t have a pelican but a Plano and I’m still trying to find a good solution to keep it in place

This reminds me of when Ford Explorers came out with the Eddie Bauer edition in the late 80’s. Came with a full set of luggage, a steel vacuum mug, and an umbrella. All badged with Edie Bauer logos to match. The country club parking lots were full of them.

At least the ridgeline had it in the bottom of the bed so as to not take away from bed space/utility. What's next, bed speakers??!!

Flush mount BD led bed lights would be cool.

I wish they would make the slider drawer an option like they're doing on the 4runner

How can you fit a toolbox now if you have these "coolers" taking up all this space? Does Toyota not realize some of us use these trucks for work?

A true trail edition truck should include 4:88 gears, Yukon, not Thailand whining junk. And TRD Pro rims, not leftover rims from 2nd gen OR trucks.

The great thing is, you can buy any other trim and fit your toolbox. It’s not like every Tacoma will come with the coolers. So to answer your question, yes Toyota knows some people use the truck for work.

The Trail Edition is just ridiculous. It reduces the size of the bed to almost laughable.

I think this is going to be made fun of a lot on TW, but people will probably really like it generally.

Probably about as popular as a Ridgeline...

Relentless Fab hybrid bumper, 2.5” Dobinsons IMS lift, RCI skids and sliders, block heater. Rola rack. Painted FJ Steelies. Was trying to keep it stock, now slowly building for the Wisconsin trails.
Exactly on point. These are more a trail head edition. If they weren't, the TRD off road owners would have a fit.

TW: The storage boxes on the trail editions are stupid!
Also TW: Check out the custom painted ammo boxes I mounted to the bed rail!
