Just as it states?? Is it ok to do this...I have about 1 quart of Synthetic Blend 75w90 and about 1 quart of full Synthetic 75w90 Gear Oil (need 1.6 quarts for front diff)....wanted to change my Front Differential Oil but need to know if this is ok to do or should I just go buy more of the synthetic stuff? Thanks

Same weight, I can't think of a reason this would cause a prob... If it were me, I would use 1qt from the full and 0.6qt from the blend. Sure others will chime in.

As long as both meet the minimum service requirements set out in your Owner's Manual, there is no harm in mixing them in a standard open differential.

Doesn't matter between brands or synthetic/non-synthetic. Its ok to mix the same viscosity ratings of oil.

Its when people start concocting multiple viscosities and when they don't really know anything about the mechanicals that are being lubricated, thats not ok and could cause significant premature wear or a failure.
