Ok what am I missing here?

im trying to wire the caliraised pods to their switch.


I connected

-white to green
-Blue to the red/yellow wire ( the one next to the green wire)
-black to black
-last red to add-a-circuit

The switch turns on but not the lights?

 

They have had an ongoing issue with wires being backwards on the leads the lights plug into. Try reversing the wires on the harness where they plug into the lights

 

Sorry, that completely confused me lol.

So, reverse the red wires I connected?

An extra fuse?

 

Take the wires out of the plug from the harness that plugs into the light. You need to reverse the two wires. They were sending out harnesses with these wires installed backwards. Basically reversed polarity going to the lights.

 

So I tapped into the “panel” and added a 5 and a 10..?

Where are you in SoCal? I am in Santa Clarita. More than willing to help you out with it. Really easy to do.

 

As long as you don't mess with high voltage, you should be ok if not medium rare.

 

I live in Downey, LA area. I’d be happy to take you up on that offer but I’m leaving to Yosemite tomorrow morning and was trying to get it done right now

 

This one comes from the lights... so I pull those little prongs out and swap them around?

 

Is your relay getting power?

 

You should be able to do either side. If it's a sealed Deutsch connector try doing the other side. You should be able to cut off that shrink tube and do it, it looks like.

No, it’s not making the clicking sound so I doubt it’s getting power.

That's what i was looking for. It's really not hard to do. Just something you shouldn't have to do. One reason I won't buy their stuff.

 

Yeah I’m pretty pissed off..

Ok so I got the green cover off and it says to find the clips inside to release the pins.. I see the clips, but am I pushing up or down?? I can’t pull out the pins?
