I know there are many die hard fans out there ...
Some of you made the trade.. I'm just curious how YOU feel about it.. if you could ONLY OWN ONE (not both)... and what pros and cons you'd see from the trade! Lol

    Mustang vs Tacoma.... And GO!

The only thing the Mustang can do better than the truck is go faster. Tacoma has an advantage in everything else :D

I've owned both (sort of... Camaro). Tacoma is easier to live with on a daily basis. Both feel like special cars in different ways.

I’m a die hard Ford guy and I’ve owned two bolt on Mustang GT’s in the past (1999 and 2005) but they’re completely different animals. I wouldn’t go back because two doors vs four doors!

I came from a WS6 before my Tacoma. Both 6psd. The WS6 was nice, but I didn't miss it. I have a 4Runner with 5spd auto now. I really miss the Tacoma sometimes.

Mustang is WAY better at recklessly mowing over pedestrians!

mine was a little older so it was obviously much less practical but I had a 1966 Mustang. Loved the car as far as practicality goes though (not including things like ac and power windows etc) the tacoma is alot better. Throw stuff in the bed, 4 doors instead of 2 doors, it can go alot more places. Other than the manual transmission, v8 noises, and faster speeds I love my taco alot more

    Why trade?

    Just own both.

'01 Tacoma works great for; camping, bad weather, etc.

'16 Mustang 5.0 we have works great for; more comfort over longer drives.

'10 Corvette we have is good for; going to the beach with the top off, or just a short stroll to town.

'94 Corvette we have is good for; drag strip only, unless I want to get pulled over on the streets.

    Thanks!

Since you put it that way; out of the 2 vehicles you listed I'd opt for a Mustang (Shelby GT350R)

I'm a new Tacoma owner as of Dec 2018. Not a new truck. I bought a 2015 CPO. Actually, it's my first ever pick up truck. I'm 52 and have had a multitude of cars over the years. I love sitting higher up and I love being able to transport things in the truck. I'm a truck guy til the end of the road now. I'll keep my Taco and 2017 Harley Road Glide.

Yes it definitely feels like a much more safer ride being up higher! And just the ability to be more useful all around with the trucks bed makes a huge plus for me too!

I had a 5.0L GT back in the day. It sucked in Vermont winters. +1 Tacoma or any 4x4 truck in general. It was hella fast though

I have no intrest on front engine-rear wheel drive car. Yea Burn outs are fun, but I'd rather have an awd for fast.
    Modded Wrx sti-vs-modded tacoma....now that's a tough choice.
My Life style needs tacoma for hunting hauling... plowing ect..

Only people that think mustangs are cool are kids under 20 and dudes over 50. I'd be embarrassed driving around town in a mustang. Be a man drive a truck, girls like it and other guys will respect you more.

Only place you're going in a mustang is the gay club and then my house.
