Just put the truck on a rack, start it, put in reverse and walk away for a couple days.

Just kidding. It still racks up miles in reverse. In addition, the miles are stored in the body ECU, not the combo meter. Switch out the combo meter with someone who has the same truck and both will show the miles you both originally had.

    going to be fun!
Looks as if the Cluster module assembly may be (LCD read out) bad they disconnected the battery and it went to 23,873 which is close to what it could be if you take 20,981 last oil change + 1,000 RT to Charlotte and 1,800 = 23,781 for the month up to this point.
On the way home from work yesterday the check engine light came on so I went right to the dealer today and the code was P0503/P0560?

The last code had something to do with the charging system I am wondering if that was never reset from when they replaced the battery but would that not reset since the battery was disconnected for replacement?

Also found out that the Taco is 3.71 MPH slower than actual reading on speedo....

That speed is about normal. I've never owned a vehicle that recorded faster than GPS recorded speed. stock vehicle, of course.

This happened to me on my old 4 wheeler. It had 6,6xx miles on it and the odometer glitched out and went to 4,1xx miles
