No kidding! If it was a 4X4, he should've changed his forum name to "MacDaddy"...

True. But im kind of a fan of fishtailing around snowy corners too. Ive had a rearwheel drive truck since i was 16. Learned to drive in the snowy northern midwest and Michigan. But i guess if you have a 4x4, you can always turn it off:burnrubber:

We don't get snow and I don't take my truck in the mud...I have no need for a 4x4. I drive 35 highway miles every day to work and back and rarely go off road. My prerunner suites my needs just fine ;)

as much hateing i do on Prerunner's.... Adam's truck is a nice truck.. even if its 2wd.... oklahoma doest get alot of snow... and if you dont do off roading, why have it... i'd love to get 20Mpg in my truck.... i normally only get alittle over 200 per tank....

when i bought mine, i had looked at a couple 2nd gen prerunner's, more affordable then my truck, but when i bought it i wanted a 4 wheel drive... i have a boat, and pulling it out of a wet seagrass covered boat ramp with out 4wheel drive isnt a good idea... we drive across country regually, and you need 4wd in the mountains of Pennsylvania during winter...

if i just lived here, didnt do much driving off road, i'd have a prerunner...

its all about what you do...

There has to be something wrong with your truck. I get 320-350 miles per tank!

I do use corn free fuel, from Phillips. 87 Octane, of course.

I'm not hating on 2WD's people. I just won't buy one. When I buy a truck/suv it's always 4WD or go home. Just personal preference, sorry if I carried the joke to far!

I just topped off my tank from the trip yesterday. All highway driving and I got 21.3 mpg! That's the best I've ever recorded.

sweet. I dont know how much better you could get from that. Maybe if you maxed out your tire pressure but then you would bounce around all over the place! haha

I think for a camping trip it should be somewhere that we are allowed to have adult beverages :D. There are lots of places around there. Ill do some reasearch and try and find the best place.

Deal. And we would require ALL participants to at least bring one case or keg of a local micro-brewery! Sampling at it's finest!
