I agree, one of the nicer one's I've seen. I'd like to get my truck on his level soon. The image was in a thread on expedition portal that mentioned selling powdercoated mounts to fit 40 and 50 inch light bars...I thought it sounded interesting

Hopefully you'e researched the glare on the hood from having LEDs that close to the front of the roof of the truck.

Not trying to throw away your idea, it looks awesome, but there are some factors that come into it.

 

Not sure if you opened the link included in my last post, the op in that thread on EP said the company would include a template for making your own matte black vinyl glare guard for the hood. Even if they don't include a template, it wouldn't be hard to make one and take to a print shop.

...so yeah.

 

I sent a pm to the OP with hopefully some help on your questions, and I did update some of the light bars, I think the 12 and 20 with measurements.
Please feel free to contact me directly thru the website with WHATEVER questions you have and I'll get you what you require.
If 17" is from hole to hole (not sure what we are measuring) but we have done in the past, used a piece of flat stock steel or aluminum that is longer than your dimensions, mounted the flat stock to the holes and redrilled holes in the flat stock to match up to a light bar you want.
Im not on here much, but I'm trying to check in, the OP does a great job on group buys, so I don't need to babysit him, I just wanted to let you know you weren't forgotten.

 

Thanks chris i appreciate it. Im just going to do the 20" and i can figure out a way to make it work. Oh and its an avid light bar with to light tabs on the top of it. Worst thing i just cut the tabs off and weld them where i want them. But thanks for the help

The 20'' isn't too tall for the lower grill? I would like to purchase the 20'' but am a little concerned about the size. Can anyone point me to a topic that discusses putting a light bar there or how to remove that plastic piece that runs across the lower grill?

Not sure about the plate, myself and OP of that thread are both in a state where we are not required to have a front plate.

 

Thank you so much for the fast response! Now I am thinking about the 30'' instead. I would appreciate the security of having it behind the bumper and not having to buy a bar to mount it on would be great. Maybe I have to go with the shorter ones on either side of the license plate...

Anyone in the (48?) states that require a plate have any ideas?

 

All states are different, but I haven't had one in Ohio (front required) for 2 years without any issues.

Can I get an Exact Measurement on the 30" double row? End to End with Mounts? I think I've only got about 32" of clearance on my bumper and then it goes down as the hoop goes up...soooooo yea...
