"old" 4 runner...any known issues?

Vehicle:

Tacoma stock, dbl cab, 4x4, short bed, SR5

My little bro is looking to get his first ride. He's got a line on a '94 4runner V6 w/ 156k miles on it. Carfax is clean and they are asking 3,400 out the door w/ tax and license included in cali.

Short of it is, does anyone know if any issues with this model/year or the engine?
