Gotta make it pre-72 James, to reflect the majority of the car show cut offs.

You going to chop the roofline or leave it? I've ridden in choptops before and the sightlines are terrible.

    You're good!

    Grandfathered in, if you like.

Mainly for cars, I like trucks. Just don't want the OP to get too wordy.

Now your going to make me dig out some old pics and convert them over to post. I used to look after a fellow Shriner that I had known for a long time. He had a 46 Caddy convertible, 29 Model A, and a 1916 Buick. He was in his 90's and could no longer drive them so he would want me to take him for rides in the Caddy. I would also take him in the model A to Shrine parades. What memories those are! I wil post pics soon.

I grew up I this car. This is my dads Tudor in 1959. He still has it, minus the mid-engine hemi.

To be fair, (and this is one that I still have a hard time wrapping my head around), even cars from 1995 are old enough to drink now.
My '84 is 32, for god's sake. A car from the 1970 is crowding awfully close to 50.

    Nice looking rig.
I guess 4" isn't bad. I'm pretty sure that the ones I've ridden in have been 6 inches or better. NO ability to see traffic lights change, lol.

I probably would have said pre 65 cars pre 70 trucks, but too late now.

    Work with me damnit.

'70 and below is good, even pre '72 for some shows to capture the last good years of the Chevy A bodies. 68 is goofy. You trying to tell me a '69 Charger isn't worthy in your old car thread?

Nice cars but not my era or style. My favorite cars weren't built after 64.

Agreed, since I secretly pine for a 1969 GTO and a 1971 Chevy C-10 longbed.
