Excellent advice:) that I found here helped me cure my drive shaft clunk. So while searching for a cure to my latest trouble (steering column rattles and shakes on non paved bumpy roads) I was pleased to know I am not alone! I was disappointed to have this problem in my recently purchased original owner 1998 Tacoma PreRunner (82,500 miles). :eek:What is up with Toyota Engineers when this same type of trouble continues in much newer trucks than mine? Well I hope you all can restore my faith in Toyota truck! Past Toyota vehicles owned , 1975 Corona wagon, 1984 Land Cruiser F60, 1989 xtra cab 4 wd. 4 cylinder, and 1995 Camry. All very good vehicles. So thanks to all the folks that make this excellent source of advice and help possible. Please forgive my lack of computer literacy.
