Old Man’s Taco

1st time taco owner here. Just picked up a 2010 prerunner DCSB with 239k on it. Previously owned by an old man I knew, only ever drove it on the highway. And obsessively maintained.

Always wanted a taco, but could never find a good deal on one. Especially here in San Diego where they seem to go for a premium. Happy to say I got a screaming deal on this baby.

No crazy mods planned, but do want to make some “OEM+” upgrades. Maybe TRD Pro shocks, color matched grill, OEM smoked lights with harness mod and crazy bulbs, etc.

First upgrade was a set of 16” TRD Sport wheels and tires pulled from new taco. To replace the factory steelies and worn rubber.

Been lurking on here for a while, and found a wealth of info. Big thanks to all those that contribute their knowledge to this forum!
