A while back I replaced the back suspension with the old man emu Dakar pack with the extra leaf and nitro chargers. I had an older set of Toytec adjustable coilovers on the front. Bilstein 5100 shocks. I finally pulled the trigger on some ome 2833 for the front. I opted for the 2883 because that’s all they had. Ome apparently is going through a revamp so there should be some new product in 3 months or so (so I’ve heard). Anyway it rides great considering I have the stock bumper and leveled out the pickup pretty nice. Bye bye stink bug! They have to settle in a bit.

Looks good man. I’m about to install some 881s and 5100s all around with general spring rear leafs.

ome is the business for first gens! The nitro charger shocks they sell are the icing on the cake.

I’m just about done installing bilstein 6112& 6150 paired with general hd springs. Also did oem lower control arm bushings and cam bolts. I went with ksp performance for my upper control arms. Hope they aren’t crap. Can’t wait to get it back on the road.
I’m taking off ome 883s and nitros/leafs. They were old and worn out. Saggy

    Looks great.

Yeah it’s amazing how different a truck it is with tight steering and suspension. You start getting used to a loose steering guide, worn, creaky control arm bushings, spongy shocks. I didn’t do mine all at once so the change wasn’t as drastic, but though my truck is definitely feeling its age lately, the steering and suspension are tight. I have General Spring HD leaves with 5100s in the back, OME shocks and coils up front. Time to replace the rear shocks and I plan to go with OME.

Nice, I just bought the same setup and it got delivered yesterday. Super excited and I'm glad to see how it sits. What kind of revamp or where did you hear the news about OME in the next following months?

I planned on getting them from Toytec out of Denver and noticed they didn’t have any. I asked why that was and the guy at Toytec told me that.

Did you change the upper a arms. I'm going to do the same lift that you did and am looking to upgrade a arms also but can't decide which ones.
