I went with SPC UCA's. My wheel offset is 11mm with the sema TRD wheels. I'm waiting until my shop sets my caster forward to see if I need to do a CMC. Already looked into the forums for that though. I'll update after I get it aligned next week

I'm running the Total Chaos UCA. The wheels are 16x8 et0 although I am not sure what the back spacing #'s are as I have not measured them. They do rub the cab mount slightly which I will be trimming when I do the rear shock relocation setup in the next couple weeks.

Thanks for the feedback, not sure why some owners are getting away with no rub, (with 285r16 let alone 285r17) seems like you need a good alignment tech to give you the caster that you need to move forward (positive caster?) out to the limits --->maybe no chop, Both UCA's are excellent...have nothing but good in feedback in the forums.

I myself have been trying to pull back the reigns on another $500 for UCA's unless I absolutely need them, gives you that flexible geometry you need for a "good" alignment depending on how much you lift...

I am looking for that 2.5" settled in lift and with that I do not think I will need new UCA's.... all the experts can chime in here....:fingerscrossed:

Anyhow rides look awesome not sure of your suspensions, but I am sure you both have excellent components.

BTW going with the DAKAR/EMU package, considering 886or 887 coils.

    Enjoy!

I went with OME setup with 887 and did the UCA's as well, read that going for a full 3 inch its the best way to go

Gotta respect that @nizzmont did you do the Dakar Pac or other?
I really like the kings, Boss, Icon, but OME just seems economically solid especially if you want the Dakar pac...in the package or not.

Yeah full leaf packs seemed to be the best way to go for me since I have 80k on 2008 suspension it's time to replace so why not upgrade it all

stuff that makes it better for my use...
Replying to the sag question, I am running the All Pro expo pack on a long bed with a shell, full bed slide and about 300 pounds of tools for over 2 years and I would say visually they have not sagged. If you go with the Expos make sure you have weight in your truck otherwise go with the regular ones.

I am looking at toytec BOSS suspension for my 1st ten. If I set coils to 2.5-3" in. of lift and slap on the dakar leaf packs for my 01' will it level the truck/have rake in the back? I don't want to run blocks and am hoping to not have to buy shackles. Thanks!

Looks good. I'm looking to pull the trigger on the dakars, how does it ride without weight in the bed? What's your setup in the front? THanks!!!

Ended up going with the Full OME Dakar set in the rear with billstein 5100's, Kept the iron-man Springs and shocks in the front and wrapped the factory rims in Nitto Terra Grappler's 285/75/16 D's. All work was completed at SoCal Suspension in El Cajon San Diego and I could not be happier with the way the truck came out! My Tacoma rides beautifully.

The leaf pack was pretty stiff at first but have since "soften" up after putting some mileage on them. I plan to add an RTT to the bed so I'm sure they'll ride even better once weight is added. Right now, I do not carry anything in the bed on a daily basis.

For the front suspension, I'm running the King extended travel coilovers with TC UCAs.

I'll be buying an aluminum shell and loading the truck up for the cross country trip - we'll be on the road for 3-4 weeks, does anyone recommend adding in an extra add a leaf?

Total load should be between 400-500 lbs.

    Thanks!

Dakars with an AAL for that kind of constant weight.

^^^ Yup....I'm installing the AAL in my pack in preparation of getting skids, sliders and rear bumper with fuel/tire swing out a few months after the lift goes in. I don't want to take things apart again so the truck will be a little ass high for that time.
