Only $20 of the $158 is actually a Labor Charge. The rest is the New Top-Plates, Bushings, Etc we have to supply since we don't have the pieces off of your vehicle to re-use. Actually a really good deal.

Ahhh, that makes more sense. Thankx Dan. Just trying to offset the $145 I just paid for shipping the Dakars. Do ya'll ever do free shipping on OME like you do for ICON?

Just got the video link, thanks for that as well!

Can't wait for next pic! Now to decide on tires & wheels, or tires and paint wheels.... But I guess that's a different thread.

    This x infinity.

Most shops around here charge $40 per C/O assembly. That's why I had Wheeler's assemble mine. That and when they arrive, just bolt them in.

I wish I had Toytec assemble mine... By time I bough new top plates and had them assembled by a friend, I was over $40 in the hole. Plus time 7 aggravation.

how many people running the full OME 3" lift with dakars and 885x coils are running stock UCA's? any issues? pros? cons?

What would you suggest? I would only be using as a DD and light offroading for camping etc... would you suggest some LR UCA's?

    Hey,
What would the opinion be on 885's vs 886's on a 2012 sport DCLB? I want the truck to have a little rake forward but not to much, and I'm not sure if the 885's will be enough on the heavier truck or if the 886's will be too stiff.

What are you using for the rear ?

Are you adding a front bumper , skids or winch ?

I have a 2013 DCLB and went with the 885s because I don't plan on a bumper or winch. The pics above show them with dakar leaf springs with the third one removed to keep it level. I didn't want to sacrifice ride.

Tell me more about what you did to the rear springs... Yours has a very nice stance. That is just how I want mine to sit. I just ordered my kit with 885's along with some wheelers bump stops and a camburg uni UCA.

Anyone have a picture of a DCLB with the rear springs untouched that they would care to quote or something?

Heres a picture of mine now stock, I will post in a few weeks when all the parts get here and get put on: (I got new tires and wheels a couple weeks ago too)

Oh, also I was wondering what extra little parts make the install easier, like I bought x4 rear shackle and main rear eye bolts and new coil isolators. The kit also comes with new U bolts and the bushings on the rear springs pre-installed. I already have longer braided SS lines from allpro that I'm gonna have the dealer put on before I install the lift. From what I understand the parking brake is adjustable. Can anyone make some extra hardware recommendations to make things go smoother?

It's exactly like it sounds , you clamp the pack , undo the centre bolt , release the clamp , pull out the 3rd leaf down from the top , re-clamp the pack , re-install the centre bolt

That reduces ride height and spring rate
