Grey wire MOD, deck plate, diff breather MOD, 2nd gen. OME 883# on Tundra 5100's, OMD custom 3" leafsprings, rear shock relocation, Ivan Stewart TRD rims w/285/75/16's, '02 bumper MOD, Famous Fabrications sliders , LED interior/exterior lights, bed bar, Custom tube bumper, Old school KC day lighters,Red Ring 8" HID flood, Kenwood vhf 2M.. umm some other shit I'm forgetting right now
Any longer coil for lift (within reason of course) is going to give a better ride than a preloaded type lift, I was rolling on stock coils with the 5100's at highest setting until recently, I mean the ride before was tolerable but now with longer/heavier coils the ride is awesome with little to no preload..

Complete OME suspension with Dakar leaf pack. Clarion touch screen Sport hood Tri fold Tonneau cover
I had coil spacers and blocks on the stock suspension when I got the truck and it was horrible. Every little bump would almost tear the wheel out of your hands. When I installed the ome lift it is still stiffer than a stock truck but it feels more like a truck. I also took off my swaybar when I put on the lift and I don't plan on putting it back on. The suspension is stiff enough that I don't have any body roll and in my opinion it rides like a truck should.

The front has settled a little bit, so it's not exactly even like it is in these pictures...I have the 885x's with a full dakar leaf pack in the rear.

Anybody running the OME setup in the front with stock UCA's (first gen) and NOT have any alignment problems? I'd rather not have to dish out the money for aftermarket UCAs if I dont have to, considering they're going to be more expensive than the actual lift. Also, anybody running stock brake lines?

Your questions about UCAs and brake lines will be determined by what coils you get and what leaf pack or aal or whatever you get. More details will help people answer.

    Front: 90004 shocks w/ 883 coils
Rear: OME dakar leaf pack (~2 1/4" lift) w/ toytec extended rear shocks.
My question: Is anyone running this setup or something similar and NOT had any issues with the alignment (UCA's) or rear brake cables?

People that get new UCA's are looking for a more perfect alignment, or an alignment that would otherwise not be possible with the stock set up. They are recommended but you can get away with not getting them - just don't expect to get a perfect alignment. The extended brake lines are also not necessary, but they are recommended. If you offroad your truck, or expect your rear suspension to be flexing a generous amount, they are a good idea....better safe than sorry.

I've got the 2nd Gen version of that. 885s & Dakars that got me 3" front & rear. Still running stock UCAs & brake lines. Castor is not quite in spec but it doesn't affect tire wear & I have no high speed wander or bump steer.
I believe on the 1st Gens you need to do a brake proportioning valve relocate. JLee sells them or make your own.

I got my old man emu lift installed this weekend will get some pics up.
No issues with the install about 3 hours for the front and 2 for the rear.
Love the ride its better than stock not squishy anymore.
I installed the 885's, and rear 2" aal. Toytec sent me the sport shocks front and rear. No vibrations and no problems with alignment on stock uca's.
Also had my duratrac 265/75/16's installed.

Very happy with the setup should be this way from the factory IMHO.

I measured every step from ground to bottom of fender.......

    Before - FD 34 1/4" FP 34 3/4"
    RD 36" RP 36"

    After Lift - FD 36 1/2" FP 36 3/4"
    RD 38 3/4" RP 38 3/4"

    Tires - FD 37 1/4 FP 37 1/2"
    RD 39 1/2" RP 39 1/2"

Do you have any wobble at highway speeds? (65+ ?) Also, could you elaborate on the brake proportioning valve a little bit? I've never heard of that in all the research that I've been doing. Thanks in advance

Thanks for the info! So no vibrations, nothing? With stock UCA's?
