Hey guys and gals, need some advice. Went to a great shop for a quote on leveling kit but we got to discussing other options and got on the subject of OME suspension kit (old man emu).
My QUESTION is: is the OME suspension kit worth the $2,000 it's gonna cost to install? That includes a front diff drop kit to compensate for the lift. If I'm gonna spend $500 for a dinky level kit, I'd just assume spend more on something better. I was curious what others thought about this? If you had the money, would you do the OME or just the level kit? Thanks!

x2, theres a reason why people spend thousands on lift kits, the more you pay the better they are (typically). Don't have them do the front diff drop kit, thats the only part that isn't worth it since it really doesn't help that much. Plus if you ever get aftermarket skid plates in the future you'll have to remove it anyway.

20% Tint, OME 3"complete lift with Dakar's, Light Racing UCA's, 285/75/16 Nitto Terra Grapplers, 10 HP TW sticker, Ultraguage, B.A.M.F. Rock Sliders, MedicFab Bed Rack, Relentless front bumper, Air Flow Snorkel, Ham comms, Tech Deck
Had the money and bought the full OME lift. Been very happy with it for 3 years. You don't need the diff drop on a 2nd gen it just rotates the diff in the front and the gain isn't worth it. If you do a 3" lift go ahead and get the UCA's while you're doing it. Order it from somewhere assembled and do it yourself over a weekend. The full lift is east to install along with the UCA's. Make sure you get the carrier bearing drop though for the drive shaft.
