The carrier bearing drop is just easy (fixes a lot)solution to include in a kit. If you still gave vibe issues you need to measure the working angles of your ujoints then adjust accordingly. I used washers for my CB drop, I also needed 3 degree shims at the axle. Zero vibes now. Try to remember that you are reading people's opinions on stuff, yes some don't know what they are talking about and others just regurgitate what they hear.

Well can't say much about OME kit sense I run Chevy 63 rear springs with Bilsteins 14"travels in the rear and a procomp 6" DB lift with Bilstein 5100s up front but I've installed many ome lifts for two members and non of them have had issues

I understand and was going to address the issue with more effort than the drop kit. The Dakar springs are so noisy I can't deal with it .

What's the issue with the 5100 Eibach combo? I've had them on 2 Tacomas now and really like them. I've never had an OME setup so obviously nothing negative to say about that. The setup on my first Tacoma was stiff but that's what I expected with the 620# coils and the billies set at .85 on a 4cyl truck. The set up I have on this truck is great so far.

The newer ones are quieter. Contact ARB about it, they have replaced a few people's with new ones.

No, the install pretty simple. The springs are gonna squeak no matter what, the carrier bearing drop is so simple a third grader could do it. It just pops and squeeks when you take off or stop. It's not horrible but far from factory sound. Over it!

Eibachs and 5100s set at 0 on an offroad... feels plush compared to stock crap imho

Yep I've got the Billies set at "0" with the 512600 (I think that's the number) 600# coils on this time with small top plate spacers and the bitch rides fantastic. Wheeler's 3 leaf with Icon 2.0's RR in the rear and the carrier bearing drop with absolutely no vibes from the get go.
