    We have an 03 tundra trd with the 4.7. It has 110k on it and still starts up and runs like new. Everyone I have talked to says it is the best tundra out there. The 4.7 is a good engine.

    Double Cab is the current Tundra's "Access Cab." So in a sense you're correct!

    Regular Cab -> Double Cab -> CrewMax.

    The Double Cab is surprisingly roomy. I was expecting my rear cab space to be smaller. The Double Cab's rear room is just like the current Double Cab rear seating in the 2nd gen tacoma, maybe slightly bigger. It feels the very similar. The CrewMax is HUGE, theres a bunch of room in the back. However, with the bigger cabin you get a shorter bed. The standard bed for the Double Cab is slightly longer. I do like how the Tundra's Double Cab doesn't require the front doors to be opened first, they're their own doors.

    I saw a Long Bed Double Cab the other day...god that thing was loooonng :eek:
