    1986 4Runner - I miss her every day.

She only had 168,000 miles on her 4-cyl 22RE, but after 24 years of hard Colorado winters, the old girl was getting long in the tooth. She was slow as hell on every mountain pass (3rd gear floored at 45mph LOL) but dependable in ways no new truck ever will be ... there's just something about mechanical manual everything ... window cranks rule.

She was a great local mountain truck. Alas I didn't feel safe driving her too fast or far out anymore, and the wife had given up driving her long ago. So I sold her to a super excited 16 year old kid for 2 grand and replaced her with my 2010. The new girl has a long way to go before she's proven her price tag. But that old bitch will forever live on in me. :(
