I've seen those wheels but never actually someone RIDING with them.

Seems gimmicky. Like carbon fiber decks and other things.

Claims of "added performance" for skate gear always raise red flags for me. The polyurethane wheel has been around for like 40 years. If there was a way to innovate on the original design, my guess is George Powell would have figured it out by now and adopted it to BONES.

I could be wrong but I'd rather talk to people who aren't paid by that company to sing it's praises on the actual benefits over my old crusty SPFs.

This thread brings back a flood of memories......:D
Worked at a shop in my HS days and organized a skate competition one summer.
The guys that I brought in to judge were from the Albany NY area. Mostly skating for Alva, at the time.
They had just come back from some big skate competition before coming to mine.
Andy Howell was with them, laying low from an injury. He was our "unexpected" judge.
And the kid that won the competition that day.....
    Todd Richards.

I’ll take arm injury over leg or back any day!

I slipped a disc in my lower back in June. That sucked balls! And I’m only 27

    Just the basics
I broke my right wrist off a jump ramp the day before my 16th birthday. Then my left hand a year or two later. Your fracture isn't displaced at all. Cast and done.

    Broke ass arm update:
Dual spiral fractures that go into the joint. Location and severity of break requires a plate and screws.

Going in for surgery Thursday. Yuppie fuckin do.

Yeah. Basically ran out of speed on a wall just doing a backside kickturn of all things after a pretty good run. Trying to get one more wall and just fell awkwardly, all on my left arm.

    Thanks...!
