Hello everyone , my name is Brandon and I own a 1989 Toyota Tacoma . Now recently I just got a new problem going on ( well more like a sound ) before the big problem happens... And it concerns me because well, it's an engine sound, which is usually not good. Now it seems a bit connected to the breaks cus every once and awhile when I break , the sounds happen. Now the sound is like the engine revving for less than a second and stopping and then revving for a second again (on and off revving...) and it keeps repeating, anyone else have this issue before??? Any info helps, thanks!

It's sounds like the engine revs for a half second like as if you are putting your foot on the pedal and taking it off immediately(pretty much
    That process but on repeat)

Check your vacuum lines for damage and proper routing (including brake booster lines).
