    I actually have thought of it but the simplicity of just having the skateboard in the bed of the truck or inside the cab washes away the thought of it.Definetely something to still consider doing for a fun project in the future!

    So TW member/skater Jason @BandanaBerg is moving to AZ.and generously donated his halfpipe ramp.

    I got this for Christmas in 1985 when I was in jr. high and I still have it today. I would skate with my girls around the block when they were younger. Now I just use it to skate to my neighbors house.

    I had gullwing trucks and Powell Peralta wheels.
    What year mongoose did you have? I still have mine it's not complete yet. I have the frame,forks,and cranks everything else was wrecked or changed over the years. I will have it back together soon.

    It was a Mongoose Expert. I think I got it in 83 or 84. It was stolen in '91 if I remeber correctly. It was just like this one.20180717_184430.jpg

    It was and still is illegal to skate anywhere in San Francisco, that is where I spent most of my time skating, but I grew up in the east bay and it was definitely not ok. Would have to run from officer stewart in my home town, ask me how I know his name. All the other local cops were coolish. SF was a bust though, if you saw a cop, you go the opposite way down a one way street. Great cop deterrent

    We did the same thing. hit a cool spot till the cops came then take off to next cool spot! I'm pretty sure its still illegal in the town that i grew up in, but now most towns have skate parks so there are great places to skate

    Man there are parks all over now. Kids are stoked these days! It seems socal had more parks than norcal. When I moved down here I skated quite a few in san diego. Up in norcal they would pop up where I lived but quickly go outa business due to costs. I was lucky to have some friends with some sweet ramps in their back yard. I loved stret skating though.
