Looks like all of the stickers/decals add up money wise more than the vans worth,haha!

 

Pretty much, almost every sticker was a skate sticker of some kind, then the skateboard on top in the rear. Was interesting to see.

 

@orezona @BandanaBerg I received a email back from Mike V and he’s performing at Skatercon and in April will be the frontman for Black Flag at Sabroso.

 

Damn, that lineup looks super sick! Bummed I'm going to miss it though since I have my kiddos that weekend and although it would be fun to take them to a big show like that, the travel aspect plus the fact they wouldn't be nearly as into spending two days eating tacos and drinking beer as I would... haha

I AM however, seriously thinking about going to this show a month later that is the day before I turn 41:



I'm hyped on this one for sure and confirmed no children that weekend, LOL!

@orezona @BandanaBerg I’m officially out for “Skatercon” this weekend.Really wanted to attend and meet up with you guys.I simply need to hold onto the funds to complete building the ramp.

If there’s anyway you guys can scoop me up a “Skatercon” decal/sticker to slap on the ramp eventually i’d appreciate it,thanks!

I actually have a busy weekend ahead with the birthday party and then the Kool Keith show later.

I'm gearing up for a road trip from Gilbert, AZ all the way up to Portland, Oregon with a stop over on the Coast along the way. 2,000 miles plus round trip.

Leaving on the 9th so really a ton of stuff to do between now and then, so I'm going to need this Sunday to be productive...

If I can grab some stickers you KNOW I'll send them to you!

The JFA is untouched since maybe '87...has a skate Nazi swastika in the grip tape... back before everyone got so sensitive.

DAMMIT! I hope some of those dudes turn up to the afterparty.
There must have been a conflicting event last year because a lot of those same folks were at the first one but didn't come last year. I personally only saw Hosoi, Steadham and Duncan last year.
I was lucky enough to be able to hang out under the judge's awning during the comp since I know a couple of the locals who had duties last year.

What should be REALLY interesting is the Sunday session at Mike's pool down the road from my house. I'd go just to watch but don't want to be THAT lurker who doesn't skate at all.
Also a *lot* of prepwork to do to get ready for the road trip up to PDX in 6 days...
