Ya’ll remember this company from Hawaii back in the 1980’s “Local Motion”? My parent’s brought me this back from there vacation i’m thinkin around 1985.I thought this was the coolest board bag,hehe!Skatercon2020 signature boards packed up for tomorrow!

 

In NorCal Local Motion lic plates were really popular. I didn’t know they made anything back then that wasn’t neon.

 

Well, SkaterCon is not happening for me. Oldest kid got sick so we're going to miss all the festivities tomorrow.

Maybe if you're lucky there will be another skate-pit when one of the thrash/punk bands is playing Since They Were Kids is pretty rad.

Also going to miss seeing some friends I haven't run into in a while since I've been on a hiatus from skateboarding lately.

I'd say a lot of old school skaters in Cali along with surfers rock some beater taco lol. Mostly down south, don't see much here on the central coast as far as "celebrates" unless in SC. I've been looking for an older board lately as I've been riding a bunch of s9s the last year or so. From long to minis

 

Local motion is still huge. I was just at there shop they have them everywhere on the islands lol. Still one of my favorite bands to this day

It looks better in the picture.There was a inner liner inside back in the days but when i used to put boards inside the grip tape eventually tore the liner out.It’s still capable of being used and i’ll see how it holds up this weekend with the three decks inside.

 

Didn’t realize this.I haven’t been to Hawaii since the early 1990’s.I’ll have to check out what they offer now.That bag from my parents is from like 1985 i think.

This describes my highschool days perfectly. Jocks vs skaters was a daily thing. I never saw this vid before, kids these days don’t know how much fun they are missing.

 

You're pretty much guaranteed going to jail for throwing hands these days. Even if they deserved it, unfortunately.

 

Yep there online store isn't as good as going to the store but they still carry quite a bit on there. I have family there so if there's something your looking for let he know
