they "may" work depending. I have seen these on a 2004 single cab 4wd so YMMV. the only issue I can see is maybe ABS or VSC sensors but afaik the calipers should be the same so clearance shouldn't be an issue.

however those tires are too small and will throw off your speedometer. they were made for the earlier Tacomas with lower gear ratios. so at $200+ that's too expensive for just rims.

Thank you for the assessment. I am not interested in the tires. I offered him 100 for the rims.

six bolt pattern to six bolt pattern, they will work, he has two sets, why not get the 16's instead of the 15's....you have 15's right now, yes?

I have 16" stock rims on my 2001. My understanding is that 15" tires are significantly cheaper, will give me more cushion for the same height, and I prefer the look too. However, I have read on the forum that sometimes there are issues with the caliper? That is why I am asking....

I would ideally like black 15" rims... just in case you have some you want to sell me :)

Since you want the rims and not the tires, paint the wheels....in the past I have done this, sand rust and blemishes, then a real good primer, then black finish to your liking (gloss, semi gloss, flat, krinkled).....each completed rim stuffed it in the oven @200* to get a good hard cure, about 15 minutes per wheel, then let sit and cool...

    Good to go...

    Pretty much stock right now
I ran the 15" alloy wheels from my 2000 (which was bought back by toyota for frame rust) on my 2001 (replacing the 16" steelies that came on it). No prob, although the speedometer may have been off. Both were 4x4s, 2.7l extracabs.

Yes 15's will offer a cheaper tire option, so weird how that is considering its more rubber than with a bigger wheel...but some 15s will clear some wont its a crap shoot and a guy has to test fit with the tacos that came with a 16....

I don't know about 15's being cheaper, as I recall when I had the original 15" alloys on my 2000 (31 x 10.5 x 15's), the Michelin's I put on at the time were about $200 ponies each when taxes were added in...$800 a set....I am on 17's right now and can skin the rims for about $650, 265/70/17's all weathers...I always go to America's Tire/Discount Tire for my tires....
