Had a great little 95 Tacoma years ago and sold it when I was given a company car. Always regret that. So I just started doing some home "fixer-upper" type work and my wife was not happy with all the stuff I was throwing into our RAV4 (ruining it she said). She came up with a great idea. She'd take the RAV and swap her older Avalon for something I could use in the business. A good friend of ours is a great mechanic & sells used cars as well. He had an older 4-Runner and 2 Tacoma's on hand. Each had a bunch of miles but he insists he'd rather have a Toyota with 200k+ miles than a domestic anything with under 100k. I sort of agree.

At any rate. We did the deal and got my "new" '07 Tacoma Pre-runner that is clean and runs like a top even with 230k miles. It's perfect for what I need, no extra frills but so far does the job.

I'm sure I'll be on the site from time to time when things crop up!
