    Hi guys, I am truly an old retired forester. I currently own a 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road w/ 3.5L V-6. 63,000 mi.
    I'm pretty happy with the vehiccle over all. Just had an incident with a "Check engine" light coming on; right after doing a bunch of normal maintenance. I replaced the engine air filter; and a few days later, the light went off.
    I then tried several daignostic testersto try to track down the cause. To no avail. Both testers gave me a "Link error" message; and I could go no further.
    I posted my frustating experience in the Technical Chat forum a short time ago. I'm hoping someone has some advice.; and thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
