Good job on the rack noise.
What leafs are you running now? If you have aftermarket leafs, swapping sides will not cure the 'taco lean' that you have.
I'm currently running Deavers 8 pack leafs and suffered from the 'taco lean'. To cure this, I added a 3/4" spacer between the perch and the pack, which can bee seen on the driver side:

Your truck is always so clean! Looks like you just waxed your axle housing.

I’m running custom Alcans, I’ve talked with them, they suggested to swap sides as they made them side specific. If that doesn’t work they are going to help remedy the issue.

I’ve been on a couple trips now and used 4x4 the whole weekend. I have my skids off from messing with the rack, figured I’ll just do it now before wheeling season really kicks in and I’ll do once again after the season is over.

This was just after the shock relocation which is why its clean.
There have been changes after but all looks similar.

I trimmed quite a bit and “massaged” the firewall back. No rubbing on the frame. I kept my 1.25” spacers because I really liked the stance. I’m not sure if I would rub without them. I don’t think I would though.

Did a few things on the truck yesterday. Added 3 degree shims, new u bolts and OME heavy duty greasable shackles to the rear.

Also had my passenger side cv boot rip last week so I threw in a aftermarket cv while I reboot the OEM axle.

Replaced the front diff fluid with 85-140 Lucas today. Don’t think the gears have seen 500 miles but I figured I’d do it now and then do it again after wheeling season. I just didn’t wanna start wheeling it hard with out changing it first.

Also a quick list of to dos:
    • Build a swingout
    • Weld frame reinforments
    • Relocate rear shocks and replace with longer travel(shocks are limiting my droop)
    • Wire fog lights up
    • Redo wiring for all lights/accessories to a bussbox to clean up engine bay (already have everything I need just need a weekend to do it)
    • Build a new/better rear bed plate form. Something that allows it to be more useable. I have the design in my head, gonna build it in SolidWorks soon.

    Hey bud,
Just wondering if you ever got around to building the swingout?
    Thanks.

Rotated the tires and did an oil change last week. The truck has not been getting much attention lately. I moved in June and feels like all my extra time has gone into getting the house together. So ill be pushing Mods to the winter since its wheeling season now.

Truck threw a P0330 code a few weeks back and a few times since then. So today I replaced my knock sensors and wiring harness. Took about 3 hours, less time then expected. 24659EEF-BD91-4AE2-AF7C-033982FBC50F.jpg

Well I finally ordered a full size spare for my truck, I had something puncture my side wall while i was out camping this weekend. It it really showed me that having a full size spare was important. So I need to get a swing out figured out sooner than later. Im thinking Im going to order the barebones swing out from 4xinnovation. Im hoping they are going to do a black friday sale!!!:fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed:

Alright rear passenger tire is replaced. I have a full size Cooper ST MAXX in the garage. I have a matching Procomp wheel on the way. Will be here Friday. My buddy will mount it and balance it next week. Fully focused on how to get it mounted on my truck. Going to call a local metal shop tomorrow to see what they would charge for the fab work and for what price.

Now that you have a fullsize spare with a matching wheel, are you gonna include it in your tire rotations?

Yes I think I am, tire rotation is due in a 1000 miles or so. It would only be the second rotation on this set of tires so Im going to throw it into the mix.
