I have the same. Great gun! I want to get a different pistol soon. Something a little better for accuracy shooting!

Made a bed platform tonight. I found the idea on here in the mist of a random thread. Used a metal bed frame. Hammered in 5/8 bolts in to the legs to clear the wheel wells and 3/4" plywood. Turned out pretty good and leaves me with good space under.IMG_6425.jpgIMG_6426.jpg

Went out wheeling/camping/fishing this weekend so decided to give the truck a quick bath after getting home today.
    IMG_6438.jpg

During the bath a few things came up that I need to take care of:

-Repaint my sliders, they are chipping and starting to rust.
-get something better to seal my topper...water leaks in.
-pull my skids back off and coat them(Got them a few weeks ago from All Pro bare metal and I threw them on so I could go wheeling.)
-give the truck a gooooooooood wax job, tons of pin strips.
-gurry up and get a winch and lights for my bumper...it looks naked.

Just a quick list to remind myself later lol

Got some bigger tires, 275/70R17's for the truck, same tire(BFG KO2) with about 8k on them. Picked up some 17" TRD sport wheels for them for now. Hoping I can sell what i have now and break even but I havent got a lot of interest from craigslist yet. I propbably wont get them mounted this week maybe next week unless I can find time.

Tires are on! Looks like I need some wheel spacers though as I am getting some frame rub. Any suggestions? IMG_6481.jpgIMG_6479.jpg

How bad is the rub? With those rims it's typical to run spacers or you can get different rims

It's not horrible. Only on full turns. Thinking a 1.25" spacer will be good.

Nice build! I can't believe how clean it was & the low mileage when you bought it. I have 2 of the same truck as yours but one is a manual trans. Both of mine were bought as projects, no where near as nice as yours.

Could try a 1" if you can find some, but 1.25 would have a better stance

Your truck was so clean & with that hefty price tag I personally couldn't enjoy wheeling it in the trails. But that's just me because I know guys that bought brand new $45k TRD PRO 4runners and are using them in the trails, mud & rocks. The cheaper the better when it comes to my trail rigs.

That's because they don't rust there like they do here. My Chevelle is from the Chula Vista area of Ca. It's crazy how solid it is compared to cars of the same vintage that spent it's life here on the east coast.

Wheel spacers came in late tonight. Was hoping to get them on today but I'll throw them on tomorrow after work.

Wheel spacers are onsbd it clears the frame. Now it's slightly rubbing the very bottom of the fender. I trimmed the plastic and that helped but its still rubs
