Since this also includes trash talking, NBC coverage can EAD. Their "live" programming has been recorded and played at times not in line with the programming guide. Then something they are showing live during the day on NBC Sports, is then replayed when NBC starts their afternoon broadcast. IT WAS JUST SHOWN 2 HRS AGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!. /rant

I'm watching it because I'm up at odd hours anyway, but it definitely lacks the excitement of a best-on-best tournament.

What's up with the sweaters, though? They all have basically the same design elements and just differ in color. I can see doing that with the 4 squads at the all star game because they're all from the same league and centrally designed, but some countries used to have some really cool jerseys, and now they just seem to be minor variations on a theme in red, blue, and white (at least the Swedes managed to keep their yellows). Very generic - little national identity.

I'll just go ahead and say without snowboarding, the US' performance wouldn't be all that great as far as medal counts with the Winter Games.

Just wait until 2020 when Skateboarding bumps up our numbers. Go eXXXtreme sports! :D

/not to diminish the athletic qualities of any of those, mind you. That kid from Bend, Oregon going to fakie from 16' above a 22' pipe was INSANE. Dude has giant balls!

Yeah Schuster finally redeemed himself. Only took him three tries to not be the nation's worst skip.

Read the team building was different this time. Rather than build the Olympic team from an individual selection process, they chose a whole team based on merit. It worked.

That was the first series we watched over the weekend. My wife and I have been curling since 08 don-cha-know.
