    Any interest in Olympic talk?

I'm personally addicted to them, and have been since the miracle on ice.

Got my DVR recording as much as I can. My gripe so far is that NBC doesn't show, or only shows small parts, of some of the events id like to watch. Archery, shooting, canoeing, and some other individual events.

USA took the first gold in Brazil in women's 10m rifle!!!

Looks like live stream online to get most of the stuff they aren't showing on TV. Rather watch on my 60" though.

I see not many here are interested in Olympic chat! Oh well I tried.

We are doing good so far. I've been watching online a lot, and dvr'ing some stuff.

I watch it in the evening. Been good so far but really waiting for the track and field games. I can't be the only one who finds the announcer for the diving really annoying. All she does is critique everyone because she was in the Olympics years ago... can make a drinking game for every time she says "not quite vertical"

I'm still surprised how young the gymnastics team is

Most of the athletes are less than half my age. I haven't watched any diving yet. Caught up on archery and shooting tonight online. The coverage has been better this year, as they are actually showing events, and not blathering on about every little thing, and hours of lead in bs.

I hope they show more field events than I previous years. They'll show every heat of every running event, then give a 2 minute blurb about the field events. I guess I can catch them online.

    I think wrestling starts tomorrow.

Watched the Archery today between Mexico and... someone. Wish I would have kept up with my recreational practice years ago. Was a fun event to watch. When the camera is behind the shooter so you can see the flight trajectory of the arrow is really neat. Caught the end of the mens basketball, next up is Serbia... should be an entertaining game for the first quarter.

I'm not a huge fan of basketball, especially in the Olympics.

I didn't get to watch much today. Been busy with stuff at home.

Wow. Didn't see this thread yet @WBF610
Olympics fan too. Have been since my parents took me to Lake Placid in '80 to watch some of the events. My brother had tickets to the big hockey game.
Have been watching some of the Rio events, mainly streamed through my TV. Works pretty well.

Not much of a thread. I've been watching as much as I can, but this week has been tough with work, then playing with the kid in spare time.

Lake placid got me hooked as well. I didn't go, just watching them.

Gotta say, this is the first Olympics since having good access to internet TV. I really like watching the "odd" sports that usually aren't covered during prime time coverage. Watched arching for the first time. Kinda cool.
    And the volleyball games.
Has been nice to pick the sports to get to watch.
