I've got the OME Heavy (886) kit w/dakars on mine and while its a little stiffer than stock, its by no means harsh.

I just installed ome 888's tonight and this it's a little more plush than my stock ride. It looks more than 2" but I'll be measuring tomorrow. Love it so far though

Do you still like it? Do you have any extra weight on your truck? Thanks.

I do still like it! Rides nice! I don't have extra weight yet. I do intend to have a hidden mount winch in the future but for now it's still great

before you install the lift I would say to check on the tsb for the needle bearing on your truck. cause the dealer will try everything they can to not get that tsb for it with the lift. if you do get the lift before the tsb that is if they have one for the 3rd gen, get ECGS bushing and install that it will kill the humming and the womp womp womp sound from your diff. I got the 885 spring with the arb bumper. I have a rake but I like it that way. the rear just 3 leaf aal with overload on, it is a lil stiff but I just have a apex bed rack so its not too bad.

i was on the side of just doing the ECGS bushing at the same time as lifting it...

ive heard it a bunch that toyota just replaced the needle bearing with another needle bearing that then fails again..

yeah I heard that the new needle bearing for the tsb is better than the original one from another member on here but I tried to get my tsb but these numb nuts at the dealer said they couldn't replicate the sound and I told him about the play and they said, there is suppose to be play on the axle. so I ended up installing the bushing. but ever since I replace the bushing no more sound and way better. also make sure you get the rubber seal. because you will probably end up ripping it up. because there is a metal clip in the seal that will come apart unless u know how to remove it clean. and that seal is on there tight.

I have the full OME kit with 885's and it is a bit stiffer than stock but not bad by any means as I do use it as my daily as well as my weekend toy. I did originally have the 886's and was not happy as it was a bit too high and stiffer than what I wanted, I did also go with some total chaos uca's.

ditto @natas1321 I had the 886 and it was up 3 and half inch and my cv was all cocked eyed, but if you don't have anything heavy you will be fine with 885. plus as I said in the OME section of TW you can replace the 885 for any other spring before 90 days of use all you have to do is call ARB in auburn WA and they can hook it up. that's what I did but I live here in WA so I just drove up and got the spring and went to a shop they are associated with and had them re install it.

nice, I had the 886's with an allpro bumper on the front but it was still more of a lift than I was looking to get I thought it would settle a bit more than it did and ended up going with the 885's after talking to marie at headstrong and could not be happier.

yup I bought my set from HS, marie does know her stuf and she hooked it up at the time. I know that even though we have same trucks etc. there is always flaws or some doesn't work right, which is weird, IE: one with the same lift will have 3 inch lift or other will have 2 in. etc. so yeah I got the 9000 shocks with 885 and nitro in the rear with icon 3 leaf aal with overload. love it too. @natas1321 I did want the all pro bumper but couldn't afford that extra shipping so I went with ARB bumper. maybe one day I will change to pelfrey or allpro

Front 90021 softer rides, rear 60091 sport w/Full Dakar leaf pack.Total Chaos Ucas. 2 inches of lift all around/maybe a little more. I have a C4 Fabrication Lopro bumper up front with a smittybilt 9.5 comp winch(130 lbs total). I did not remove the last leaf of the Dakar Without the bed loaded (rtt/camp gear) it's a bit stiff. Ome says to remove last leaf if you run less than 300 lbs normally. With the bed fully loaded (300lbs+) the ride is perfect, especially over rough terrain at 40-45mph is where it seems to really shine. 20170226_162715.jpg

Lift? Yea I got one of those
I got the full OME setup last week to include SPC UCAs for peace of mind. Just had to add top plate spacer to even out the rake. Went with a local shop and they suggested 883s which works perfect for my AC 2wd. So far truck just eats up all the bumps and dips in our horrible roads out here. Time will tell if I decide to go with a higher spring rate.

Shoulda gone with 884s and ditched the top plate spacer. The 883s, 884s, and 885s are all the same coil, just different lengths. with 883 being shorter and 885 being longer.

I bought my 5100's and 884 coils from Headstrong off-road. They don't recommend for a double cab. It lifted my truck 2 inches. Did not do anything to the rear yet. My 2015 TRD sport handles and rides really good. No Vibrations and I have a lot of back roads.
