By last leaf you mean the lower overload spring? After climbing under my truck this afternoon and seeing just how bright and shiny the patch of metal the bump stop hits is (ie - I hit it quite a lot) I'm beginning to once again consider a full pack instead of an AAL.

    From Toytec:
    Rear Suspension:

    • Springs:
      • Great emphasis was placed on ride comfort, with and without a payload, which led to three loading scenarios using the same leaf spring part number (CS047R). For stock loads where no weight is added, it is recommended to remove a leaf from the spring pack to maximize ride comfort and achieving a 2 inch ride height increase. For heavy applications an extra leaf has been designed.
    • Stock loads (0lbs to GVM, optimal performance at loads of 0-300lbs) *Removal of third leaf required
    • Constant 300lbs (300lbs to GVM, optimal performance at loads of 300-600lbs)
    • Constant 600lbs (600lbs to GVM, optimal performance at loads of 600lbs plus) *Extra leaf required
      • The removal or addition of a leaf spring would need to be completed for those individuals knowing that their rear load scenarios would be lighter or heavier than the constant 300+ lbs load the spring is designed around.

Excellent thanks! Now, anyone around Dallas want a really good condition set of 3+1 factory leafs at a deal? ;)

Ball out and get the BP-51 kit. Drives better than stock, even with the sway bar removed, and does terrific off road.

its more than balling out though... the kit comes in at pretty much 3 times the cost

Also, I just really don't want adjustable coil overs. I've had them before in cars and they just never did it for me. I'm only looking for about 2 inches of lift and am more interested in ride quality than going huge. I'd rather have a complete front and rear package designed and tuned for a specific change.

All the king/fox/icon/etc are all coil overs. That's one of the biggest draws to this OME kit over those or the bp51s

Great pics! Truck looks awesome! Have you played with the Adjustable Compression and Rebound much?

Not yet, no. I left it at the factory setting until I add some weight to the truck.
I get that. The bp51s aren't ride height adjustable. Just the compression and rebound. It claims it's 2" of lift but on the gen 3, it's closer to 3". Sits taller than a couple gen 2's I've seen with the same kit

does any one have the 883's just for leveling the front ? wandering if any one knows how much the 883 would lift the front of an access cab 4x4 off road 2016 with no extra weight just stock?

I'm guessing no lift with 883, 884 should yield 1-1.25" lift. Near you too, Altoona.

i think instead of gambling on what spring will give me just the right lift im going to hold out and go with a mid grade coil over,, that way i can get it just right the first time. i really kind of want to say away from spacer lifts... even though i dont think 1-2'' really would hurt

Well technically you can adjust the pre load which may change the ride height slightly But it's designed to be a 2" lift over stock. I don't know a ton about these yet. Just got em. But it's not like icons or king where you can go from 1-3" from my understanding

OME 886's, Dakar Leafs, fk29 cb shim, 3deg spacers, 17" Method Vex, 255/80/17 Cooper S/T maxx, Leer shell, frontrunner rack, Thule bars, 40" light bar, Hids, Seat covers, JL's, Headunit
Ome 886's here, LR uca's, Dakar LP in back on ome shocks, ecgs bushing installed, CB drop, 3mm shims, sway bar relocate, no diff drop. Unloaded the ride is definitely stiffer than stock but it performs much better, like above it feels more planted on the streets. Off road the difference is night and day. I've had mine on for 15 days now and love it. I'm running a leer 180 shell and a plywood deck plus storage box daily, it definitely handles the weight a lot better now than when stock. At the moment without a front bumper or winch the front is stiff but those are on their way so I won't have to deal with it being that stiff for long. 2.75 lift all the way around.

So if that's the 2 inch lift up front, what rear setup was it. was it the full dakar with one leaf taken out? Looks nice!

Been reading about this kit for the last four hours. One question I can't seem to find an answer for is, as far to go off road how do they perform?
I plan to do light to moderate off road trials with a friends nothing extreme, I'm looking for a kit to give me by most trails friends invite me. I will also add sliders.

@Batman! I have the Nitrocharger kit and it's been great off-road and now that I have have enough weight for the 886 springs, it's been great on-road as well. I've done plenty of moderate off road trails and have been thoroughly impressed. They do rust a bit if you live in areas that use a lot of salt in the winter/live near the ocean. I was able to do all the trails at Red River Gorge that others were doing that had Fox suspension and 35s (I have 33s). For the money I think they're the best option.
