OME 885s on 5100s with 1/4" spacer on driver side and 1" Maxtrac blocks

Measured a day or two after install and I believe I got about 1.3" up front... definitely lower than I expected. Will settle more, I'm sure. Want to keep slight rake, not level. Considering swapping 1/4" spacer for 1/2" on driver and shifting the 1/4" to passenger side. Will need to press new studs to fit 1/2" spacer on driver side though.

No complaints about ride quality or clearance. Good option for the money, but I wish the 885s didn't sag as much.

You rub with the mud flap after lifting? I see you have the front off.

Before lift it rubbed with or without mudflaps. After lift it doesn't rub the back of the wheel well during moderate offroading and I think I could probably put the flaps back on. But after seeing how they are mounted and how stiff they are, I'm hesitant to do any rock crawling with them on. Don't want to find out what happens to that plastic wheel well liner when they stuff into the ground or a rock

Back ones stay on because it's required in AZ

    Thanks.

I have the same setup and rock bloks on front will rub. When I looked closely I wasn’t convinced that a lift would help. Sounds like it may a little bit I might try some trimming first.

Hey man sorry to revive an old post. Currently going through this situation. 5100 ome 885’s. Lost over an inch of lift in about a year. Pretty bummed. I’ve thought of doing the spacer swap. Move the 1/4 to the passenger and add 1/2 to the driver. Did you try this?

Hm interesting. After a year, I’m at about 1.8” of lift running 2887 springs and softvalved nitro chargers.

45 pound stump bumper, winch, TRD skid and steel sliders.

    Got no complaints over here.

What’s your hub to fender measurements?
My 885s on 5100 are at 21.5 in the front. So basically .5-.75” of lift over stock. Pretty pathetic

I have 22.5(drivers side with 1/4 spacer). Been sitting at this level for 3 years. BTW, my coils are 8885X

Damn thats crazy. My rear deaver aal is at 23.5 front the center of the hub to the fender. Front is barely at 21.5 both sides with 1/4 lean spacer on driver side. How do you know that you got the 885x? Mine were bought from headstrong in July 2021 so not that long ago but crazy sag like many others with OME coils.

My rear is the same setup and seats at exact height.
I bought them from HS in 2020. There is a label on them

Well mine don’t have tags. Looked back to some pictures from unboxing. No tags either.

    I’m at 22 1/4”, stock was 20 1/2”, so I’m more like 1.75” of lift.

Definitely you need to swap coils. They are below advertised numbers.

So if I understand correctly, 885 gives you ~1.75” and 887 gives you ~2”, and both are stock to 120 pounds of constant weight?

Yeah definitely a noticeable sag from when i had the lift installed. Pretty frustrating. Gonna email headstrong and see what they say. From what i've heard you have send your coils in to get them looked at. Might as well buy the Eibachs.

    Did HS assemble coils?
