New to the truck mod game and wanted to see if this pair of springs will work. I see conflicting things online about the 2885s for third gen’s.

Almost 4 years on 885. Still sit at the same height on the stock truck

I had them on my truck for a bit but they were paired with Bilstein 5100s.

I am going to pair them with 5100s also but wanted to make sure the spring would actually fit a 3rd gen. Some sites list only 2nd gens

Yes, will fit. I'm running 5100s.
Keep in mind, you will get 1.5-1.8" lift.
They won't give you 2" lift.

That is what I got out of my research…that they settle to a 1.5-1.75” lift. That’s ok with me, I’m wondering if I even need an AAL if I’m going for a leveled look. In my head I’m thinking

    OME 2885s
    5100s all around
    Maybe a taco lean spacer

I don’t plan on loading the truck beyond stock weight. Just a skid plate

Many 3rd and 2nd gen suspension components interchange. Including shocks and springs.

And many vendors, especially smaller ones, do a weak job of keeping their sites updated. I mean 3rd gens have now been around 8 years....

I'm sitting 1.75-1.8" on the driver's side with a spacer. The right site is close to 1.75.
I have AAL in the back and have a slight rake.

On my first post, in the photo, I had a 1" block in the rear to level it. And 1/4 spacer for the taco lean.

Nice! I really like how yours looked so I think I know what to aim for. What tire size were you running?
