OME 884's on the way!

K cool! I am excited to get these things installed!

If I get them installed is it hard to do the top plate spacers at a later time? Would it be something I could do in my garage with basic tools?

 

Just as soon do it all at once. You can do it with the tools you have nothing special required, except the spring compressor and some jacks.

 

Hmm so you think I should do the top spacer as well and not wait to see if I need it?

 

You are going for level I would assume, so your idea may be better, keep the spacers off and see how you like it. The spacers go on top. At the moment I can't see a reason why you couldn't just put them on at a later date if you find it is too low. Sorry I wasn't keeping up with your train of thought.

 

Haha no worries Ok cool I will just install the 884's alone first to see how it sits. I want it to be level as best as possible. I hope I wont need to change my UCA's with the new 884's. I currently have no issues with my 5100's at 2.5" alignment and caster etc came out perfect.
