Questions if i get the OME kit from toytec is there anything else i will need. I think it comes with struts springs diff drop rear shocks and aal. Do i need anything else also if i run 265's can i run factory wheels or do i need back spacers? how much back spacing is needed? I think i may get LR UCA any input on them or sugguestions i live in a place that the salt in the winter can be rough i was afraid this would harm a uniball like a tc uca's. Thanks for any help.

OME 3" lift with 885 coils. OME Shocks with TSB 1.5 AAL. 285/75/16 KM2s. XD Hoss 16" wheels. DDM Tuning 6000K HIDs, H10 6000K Fogs. BHLM. Debaged. 20% tint on front windows.
LR UCA's would be my choice.... No new wheels are needed if you plan on running 265s you'd be fine with the OEM wheels. IF you do plan on going up to 285s, you will need new wheels with a 4.5 BS, or wheel spacers if you decide to run the stock wheels instead of buying a whole new set of wheels.

With the 885's you should be fine with stock uca's. Your alignment won't be perfect but it'll be good enough. Like you said, you could always go aftermarket if you aren't happy. I got the complete kit from them minus the diff drop and it has everything needed to lift it. Most people advise against the diff drops arguing they do more harm than good. I agree with them and also with the 885's you shouldn't have enough lift to need it anyways. You don't need spacers for your wheels unless you go with 285's and don't run an aftermarket uca but with 265's you'll be fine, that's what the off roads come with.

The kit comes with everything but you still need a spring compressor to disassemble the stock struts and assemble the new ones. Also other basic tools are need obviously. Also, the stock u-bolts will work with the aal just make sure you have about the same amount of threads sticking out on both sides of the ubolt of course.

Best of luck with your lift. If you have any other questions including install feel free to ask. I couldn't be happier with my OME lift and highly recommend it.

    Get the LR UCA's .

FWIW , I'm very happy with my OME 885 set up with the LR UCA's .

    I got 2 1/2" up front with the 885's , no spacer , on my DCLB 4x4

Heck no I have not change my profile.

I did know someone who set there 5100s to 2.75 and ran 885 and yea he blew a shock. LOL

I got my 885s set to .85 but I'm going to order the top plate spacer. And change it up here soon.

You shouldn't need any of that. If you run into vibes in there rear you would start with the carrier bearing drop but with an aal most don't have the vibes.

I bought the diff. drop; lots of mixed opinions on it. But I know a tacoma owner (4 of them) that has had a lift on every truck and says that the cv axle boots wear much faster with a lift. He highly recommends doing the diff drop unless you have lots of cash o la!!!

Don't mean to thread jack but does anybody know if any parts from the stock front suspension have to be re-used in order to assemble the OME shocks and 885 coils? I'm debating if it's worth it to spend the extra money to have the shocks and coils pre assembled or do it myself. Has anybody assembled it themselves? If so, how easy was it? Any stickies on it? Thanks TW.

Re-use the top hat for the struts. I reused mine that came on my OEM struts. I brought my OEM struts and the OME struts to a shop.
