i'm looking at getting a set of OME 885 springs and the 5mm OME "trim packers". is anyone running the 885's with the stock TRD bilstiens? if so, how is the ride? is this ok to do with the stock struts? the reason i ask is because im worried about reduced droop/down travel.

and about the "trim packers", im assuming they are just spacers the mount between the strut top and the mount on the frame, not between the strut top and spring. is this right? i know everyone hates spacers, but its only 5mm (1/4"-3/8") and like i said, i thing it goes between the strut top and the mount on the frame.

please provide any knowlege about these products you may have. im looking to get 2" in the front of the truck and this seems like a good way to do it.

    This ^^^

The Trim packers are an OME product that only fits the OME shocks, and mounts under the lower spring seat.

So your saying I pretty much need the OME struts? Will 5100's work?

How much lift you going for? 885s may give you 3"+, unless you are going with a aftermarket bumper.. If you were and going with a winch, you could always look at 886s.

I just bought OME 885's and yes you can use 5100's. That is what was recommended to me.

5100's will work with just the OME 885s. The trim packer is a piece made for only OME parts.
